The founder
Commitment makes a difference
Felix obtained his bachelor’s degree in law from University of London in 1992 and subsequently completed his master’s in insurance law in 2000.
He was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 1994 and commenced his practise at Shearn Delamore & Co. In 2017, he founded Felix Raj Chambers.
Felix has extensive experience in dispute resolution specializing in insurance law, construction disputes and arbitrations, medical malpractice, commercial and land disputes including land acquisition matters. While his area of special interest is dispute resolution, he also provides advisory services in drafting and reviewing construction, insurance, and commercial contracts.
He has been appointed as Counsel at all tiers of the Malaysian Courts and his cases can be found in the journals.
He is also a regular speaker at seminars and events on continuing legal education for various industries and internal workshops for clients.
He has also contributed to the Malaysian High Court Practice printed by the Malayan Law Journal Sdn Bhd [“MLJ”] and the MLJ Handbook on Insurance Law and Land Acquisition. He has also contributed to the Halsbury Laws of Malaysia on Insurance.
He is currently a member of the Investigating Tribunal Panel of the Advocates & Solicitors Disciplinary Board.
Ahmad Aizek
Ahmad Aizek Busu Bin Abdul Aziz graduated from Universiti Teknologi MARA, Shah Alam.
He was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in January 2012 and began his legal practice at Messrs Shearn Delamore & Co until April 2016, after which he joined Messrs Shaikh David Raj until October 2017. He joined FRC since its inception and is a Senior Associate of the firm.
Throughout his legal practice, he was exposed to multiple areas of law including
Medico-Legal, Insurance, Contract, Construction, Land Acquisition, Environmental, and Banking.
He is also a Life Member of the Medico Legal Society of Malaysia.
Joseph Lum
Having called to the Bar in 2014, Joseph began his career primarily in banking litigation, tenancy disputes, Anti-Money Laundering matters, contentious divorce, breach of director’s duties, oppression of minority shareholders and filing of injunctions.
His exposure and experience grew to cover corporate disputes involving, boardroom tussles and mandatory general offer pursuant to the Capital Markets and Services Act 2007.
That apart, Joseph had assisted Senior Counsels in appellate Courts.
With the wide ranging experience Joseph had, he now brings his expertise to FRC.
